Karma - The Law of Actions and their Effects
Tuesdays, 7 - 9 pm
If
we lack either the wisdom understanding the law of karma or conviction
that our actions will produce effects, we will unwittingly embrace the
very causes of our suffering. Understanding karma is a priceless wisdom
because we can avoid creating causes for suffering and instead
create only causes for happiness. If in addition, we purify
negative karma we have previously created we be able to gain real
control of our future experiences.

The Liberating Path
Tuesdays, 7 - 9 pm
Everyone, including animals, holds a strong wish to be permanently free
from suffering. Animals have no opportunity to attain such a result,
but humans do. The main reason we have not achieved permanent
liberation from suffering is a paradox. It is because we lack a strong
motivation to engage in the actual causes that lead us to freedom from
suffering. If we develop wisdom understanding that suffering is
unavoidable so long as we remain an ordinary being, then the
strong wish to become liberated from being ordinary will arise in our
mind. Once we have this strong desire the effort will naturally come to
release us once and for all from the bondage of suffering.

Tantra - The Essence of Buddha's Teachings
Tuesdays, 7 - 9 pm
The real meaning of our human life is finding and following the correct
spiritual path to enlightenment. The supreme path is the tantric path,
for it is the quick method to attain full enlightenment. A tantric
practitioner learns how to transform worldly pleasures into the path,
by overcoming his or her ordinary view and conception of reality. When
tantra is practiced correctly, practitioners experience few
difficulties and quickly advance from joy to joy.
